We made fettuccini, ravioli, and another stuffed pasta shape that I’m forgetting the name of. He did a great demo of how to make the sauces, plated our meals beautifully (with very generous portions), and we ate the fettuccini with a tomato sauce and the stuffed pastas with a butter sage sauce along with wine and soda for my kids."

Excellent pasta and tiramisu making class in Rome
"Marina was an amazing teacher! Our class involved making fettuccine, ravioli, and tiramisu. Our family was a family of 5 with 1 child who was 4 years old. Marina was an expert in pasta making and added very practical tips for each dish. She provided assistance where needed but also let you experience for yourself. She made it a lot of fun and educational. The pasta portions were huge and we even took some back to have for the next day. For our fettuccine you had the choice of carbonara, pesto, and cacio e pepe. All were delicious and recipes were provided afterwards. Marina somehow balanced teaching the class and helping our young daughter finish her pasta. She is an amazing teacher and we would take this class again if in Rome."

Fun and tasty —- really enjoyed this!
"We had so much fun learning how to make some authentic Italian desserts at Vice Baking Lab. The instruction was great and easy for everyone including some of the younger children in the group. Hands down it was some of the best gelato we’ve ever had. The cannoli was 10x better than the stuff we’ve tried around the city and the tiramisu (not tried it yet) was way easier to make than I would have imagined. The staff is friendly and fun as well. Highly recommend this experience to others in the area and looking for a cool dessert making class."

Highlight of our trip - must cook with Marilee
"This was definitely a highlight of our trip in Rome. Liv tours has a gem with Marilee's cooking class. We are a family of 6 which was a perfect number to experience pasta making, raviolis, etc... we ate what we cooked throughout the afternoon, drank wine and learned so much from spending time with Marilee in her kitchen. We all can't wait to try out her recipies at home. It was relaxing and enjoyable! Next time in Rome we will have to do another class with Marilee to learn to make some more dishes.

The menu changes with the season, but expect to make dishes like:

Highlight of our trip
"Four of us joined Claudia and Bruno for an amazing experience. First - they are lovely. Second - their joy and enthusiasm is contagious. Third - Claudia knows what she’s doing in the garden and the kitchen and Bruno knows what he’s doing at the keyboard (he even took requests).
We started with an espresso, then picked all the greens we needed from the garden, including a bit of foraging.
We made two types of pasta, an incredible tomato sauce, fried some greens, made a beef dish and had a lot of fun. Lunch followed with some of their own wine, which was really tremendous. This was a lovely experience. You won’t regret this trip to the countryside."
